All purchases in Familiar Knock Knock are made through Google Play, which handles payment. Refunds are always paid back through Google Play to the original payment method, never in cash, and never for more than you paid.
What you can buy
Knock Plus and Knock Plus Family: subscriptions, billed monthly or yearly, that renew automatically until you cancel.
More members and More groups: one-time purchases that unlock extra capacity permanently.
Cancelling a subscription
Open the Play Store → tap your profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Familiar Knock Knock → Cancel. You can also get there from the app: Upgrade → Manage or cancel in Google Play.
You can cancel at any time. You keep Knock Plus until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you will not be charged again.
Uninstalling the app or deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it in Google Play.
Cancelling does not refund the current period, except as described below or where the law requires it.
Getting a refund
Within 48 hours of buying
You can usually request a refund directly from Google Play: go to play.google.com → Order history, find the purchase and choose Request a refund. Google decides these requests under its own policy.
After 48 hours
Email bonoloware@gmail.com with the subject Refund request, the Google Play order number (it starts with GPA.), and the reason. We consider every request fairly, especially where something did not work as described. We answer within 3 days of your request, and any refund we agree to is issued through Google Play within that time.
What a refund changes
A refunded subscription stops giving Knock Plus.
A refunded one-time purchase removes the unlock. Nobody is removed from a group because of it: a group that already has more than 3 members keeps them, but cannot add more.
Price changes
If a subscription price goes up, Google Play will tell you in advance, and you can cancel before it applies.
Your legal rights
Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under the consumer protection law that applies to you, including South Africa's Consumer Protection Act and Electronic Communications and Transactions Act.
